Dumb Television [My First Rant]

hhh

Yayy! My first rant. Muah ha ha.
Well. I was watching television, looking for an inspiration for another post, when I came across A TON of new cartoons that I've never heard of.
Phineas and Ferb. What the Heck?
Camp Lazlo. Oookayyyy...
Ed, Ed, and Eddy. That one has been around for a while, but I hate it.

It's all the same stuff. Ugly drawings of kids [and such] hitting eachother on the head. And too may fart and burp jokes.
All the good shows are being bumped out by these dumb cartoons.
The old Disney Channel? Gone.
Now replaced with hairboy Zac Efron, lip-synching sappy musicals.

-_-
All done! Don't kill me.
Oh wait... this place is already dead! *cough*motherandfather*cough*

Darling. Are you suuuuure you want to rant? Is this blog going to be a shiny happy place, that adds to the light in the world, or a daaaaark icky lumpy place? It's all up to you. Heady, isn't it, to have that kind of power over your own product?

Rant away - it is your world and your life. Let it spill over. Just don't forget the Chet.

The best cartoons are the old Hanna-Barbara and Looney Tunes ones. Also, check out Fractured Fairy Tales (if you can find them) You may need Sherman and Mr. Peabody's "Wayback Machine" to time-travel to those oldies-but-goodies.

I don't blame you for ranting about the cartoons. I don't look at them any more if I don't have to.

Now that picture of the young man is not too hard on my eyes. I don't see what is wrong with him but I like the picture of the pig too. :)Very artsy.

Cute farm animals are better than glam-ed up boys. Really, they are.

I agree about the cartoons ~ give me the cartoons of my childhood (early to mid 80s) any day of the week over A LOT of what is on tv now. Katdoc, you're right too ~ Hanna-Barbara are pretty darn good. Congrats on the blog Phoebe ~ I'd say you're off to a great start!
