Sunset of the Gods

Well, after a rumble of thunder, ten second down pour, and 60 MPH gusts of wind, I think the weather gods were ready to repay us.
There's not much to say, just lots to look at.

There was a huge, wonderful lavender hue.

After the sun went down-

Awesome pink puffs

But, after rewarding us with that great sunset, it is now a freezing rain/snow mix with wind. =P

PS- All of the photos (except for one) were taking by Julie Zickefoose.

Weird Weather!

The weather we've had for the past two days has been insane. I woke up Tuesday morning to 60°, rainy. I pulled out my capris, went to school, yadda yadda yadda, until it was time for bed. I slept like a rock until 2 AM when the winds started. 50-60 MPH gusts (Which popped up throughout the day). And I'm such a weather freak, that when a gust goes on for more than 10 seconds, I jump up and look out my window to see if there's a tornado blowing around. So after a trip to mommy's room, the wind died down, and I finally fell asleep around 6. The clock magically turned to 7:45 AM (15 minutes before bustime). I got on the bus with sleep crust still in the corners of my eyes, and headed to school. It had been, oh, 40 minutes, until the teachers were summoned to the hallway. We were going back home, because the creek across from our school was dangerously close to spilling onto the road. 20 minutes after that was announced, the rain stopped and the sky started to brighten. When we were on the busride home, the sun came out. It would go from dark, to clear and sunny, and then cloud back up again. But there was a light at the end of the rainbow... I mean... day... **Sunset post coming soon!**

Title says it all.

I had all the making for a post finished except for the photos, and Firefox spazzed out and lost everything because Blogger wasn't Auto-Saving.
So, meanwhile as I'm trying to recreate, I shall exert my frustration into Moses.

Moses, Moses, Moses and the Red Sea. Moses, Moses, Moses is the life for me...

Chet Baker's Girlfriend

Chet Baker has many women in his life.
Daisy, Alapocus, but, most of all, Saturn.
This is the very pretty, playful Springer Spaniel that Chet "flirts" with whenever he visits town.
They love to play their own version of Michael Vick's dog fights. But this is pretend, really. Chet coaxes us to believe this.

"Chet Baker, you'd better calm down!"

"But Mether, I was just tickling her." -snorgle-

"See? Just little nibbles on the mezzlepuffs!"

"You have a very white chest, M'lady."

PS- I don't think I'm going to post on Sundays. People are at Church and going for some good 'ole Sunday drives. -cough-

Spelin B

Read it and weep. -nod-

My words were:

Tragedy [Which I misspelled "tradgedy"]
And the winning word was: Upheaval

Isn't it just great that we never got past the begginer words?

Mhmm. I even blacked out my school's name for obvious safety purposes!

Well, I've been a very bad blogger lately. I've been sick, had homework, and places to go. I even PUKED!

This grouchy cardinal had to tell me off this morning, just so I'd blog. Bad Phoebe, Bad!

Aren't our window decorations just so awesome?
